Jaime C. Villacorte's Notes

Jaime C. Villacorte's notes to Chip's Challenge were published in 1990 as a PDF file. Apart from being the first guide to this game, they were obviously the main source of information for the programmers who created the Windows port.

For three levels, Jaime has typos in the passwords. In each of these three cases, the Windows programmers followed his notes and not the original game:

Level Lynx Windows
6: LESSON 6 WNLP WNLD
10: BRUSHFIRE VUWS UVWS
28: PING PONG UJDD UJDO

After every ten levels, you get a more or less encouraging message. Jaime wrote down the messages from level 50 on verbatim, but omitted the first four. So does the Windows version.

Jaime C. Villacorte also wrote a guide for the Lynx version of Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure. Apart from that, nothing is known about him.
