DMPQuest is a program that allows anyone the ability to edit the text for a Daggerfall quest so that they can create their own "custom" quests to be used with Daggerfall by Bethesda Softworks.
DMPQuest has been designed to be very user-friendly so it should be very easy to learn and use. Simply load a quest and edit. To view different sections, either select a section from the menu, or press the arrows to switch between sections. Right clicking brings up an option menu. To switch between QRC and QBN click on the tabs on the top. Quests may be saved to a new name, and the QBN is automatically saved to a new name along with the QRC.
One of the most important features that DMPQuest contains is the ability to open multiple quests up at one time. This allows you to compare the information between two quests or even cut, copy and paste between the open quests.
When you first load DMPQuest, the options menu should come up. At this point you need to tell the program where Daggerfall is located on your computer. If you would like to be able to double-click on a Daggerfall Quest file from within the windows explorer and have it run Daggerfall then you can check the "Associate QRCs with DmpQuest" option and DMPQuest will set it up so you can do that. If for any reason DMPQuest does not do this then you can access the same screen using the "Options" menu item in the "Configuration" menu.
