Julianna

Julianna is a simple Adytowner. She does what Caleb asks, but she is only able to do a little farming, she doesn't have the skills to help Smitty or Miles out.

Julianna has a problem. She is in love with Romero, one of the Blades (originally, he was one of the Rippers, but never mind that). Julianna, not being a scavenger, cannot leave Adytum, and since the Regulators shoot Blades on sight…

Well, but what are heroes for? If you get through to Romero, he will give you a locket. Now, you have three choices:

1. Tell Julianna that Romero's through with her. She will then draw a knife and plunge it into herself. You get to keep the locket (it's worth 400 bottlecaps) and to loot her body. You should at least find a knife. I assume you would also lose some karma.
2. Tell her that he sends his love, but do not mention the locket. Nothing much happens. You get to keep the locket and won't finish the quest properly.
3. Give her the locket like you're supposed to. You will gain 250 XP and will later find the star-crossed lovers with the Followers.

The locket quest is one of those that were completely scripted, but later discarded. Everything is there: The locket (item #98), scripts and message files for poth participants, and there is even a mention in Lorraine's dialog. The only problem to reactivating this quest is probably the fact that Romero's script is still based on the original conception of the Blades as a gang. Guess you'd either have to rstore the Blades to their full former gang glory, or heavily edit his script and message file.
