Van Buren

Van Buren was the codename of Interplay's 2003 Fallout 3 project that was dropped in favor of a console title (the infamous Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel) when it was already 90% finished, or so they say.

I started this page in July 2004. Back then, what info there was was scattered over various interviews and forum postings by the former developers. Meanwhile, several design documents have been made available to the public, and the dialog files hidden away in the tech demo have been extracted.
